AYCHW Symposium : ASEAN Youth Community for Household Hazardous Waste (AYCHW)

In the second phase of the project, AYCHW will step up its activities to encourage the youth to continue their household hazardous waste (HHW) practices. A symposium hosted by AYCHW will allow delegates to present and discuss various topics around HHW management.

AYCHW Symposium is a 3-day virtual event for Southeast Asian youths to exchange ideas, to add insights and to produce policy recommendations for each selected household hazardous waste. Through this event, the policy recommendations will be sent to ASEAN Secretariat and can be implemented for a better, sustainable future in each country. For the symposium, it is exclusive for selected youths who passed through a thorough selection. The symposium will revolve around three activities, which are panel discussions, policy recommendation training and delegation works. The delegation would also be divided into three delegations:

1) ASEAN Youth Delegation for e-waste
2) ASEAN Youth Delegation for household chemicals
3) ASEAN Youth Delegation for microplastics.
